Duncan has been a professional artist and teacher for over
35 years. She is nationally and internationally known for her paintings
on porcelain as well as her paintings with oils, water colors and
gouache. Her work can be found in many private collections around
the world.
Restoration of paintings old and new has also been a part of
Barbara's professional career. She has worked on many Museum quality
paintings for private collections.
In 1983, Barbara began making instructional video tapes especially
for the china painter. These video tapes have taught many students
world wide with outstanding results. Barbara receives many wonderful
letters telling of the achievements that students have made studying
with her instructional video's.
Barbara has written many articles for the china painting trade
magazines that are circulated in the United States and abroad.
She is also the author of seven China painting instructional Books.
